What is the ACT?
A standardized test, The ACT® measures English, Mathematics, Science and Reading. The ACT Plus Writing includes the four subject area test plus a 30 minute Writing Test. The test intends to aid Undergrad Schools assess the potential of applicants for advanced study. Universities in the US, while inviting the applications from prospective students, ask for SAT® I or the ACT® scores.


The examination is entirely a paper-based Test. The test is scored on a maximum of 36. The ACT® scores alone cannot guarantee admissions in to a school – the test is only one of the major factors taken in to consideration in the long process of an applicant getting admitted in to a graduate school that he/she desires.

 

The ACT (No Writing) consists of four multiple-choice tests: English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science. The ACT Plus Writing includes the four multiple-choice tests and a Writing Test.
