Electrical System Design
AED 3,000
This course is designed to provide participants with a detailed and up-to-date overview of Electrical Systems Design. It covers the role of the electrical design team in an engineering and construction project and considerations for effective electrical design; the electrical load list, transformer sizing, switchboard sizing, and power and distribution transformer; the key single line diagram, LV switchgear and protection and metering diagram; the air insulated switchgear, power system study, gas insulated switchgear (GIS), and the DC & AC UPS sizing calculation.
Further, this course will also discuss the UPS single line diagram, DC UPS, cable sizing calculation and edge sizing calculation; the AC UPS & earthing, emergency diesel generator, lighting calculation and hazardous area classification; the variable speed drive, cable schedule, drum schedule and capacitor bank & harmonic filter; the substation design, neutral earthing resister and the LV & MV motors.
During this interactive course, participants will learn the field cable routing layout, busduct and distribution board; the industrial lighting design, field lighting and small power layout; the relay coordination, numerical relay and relay coordiFnation & setting; the interconnection diagram and the electrical bulk materials.
